a community partnership

for kids

Camp Chance is a 5-day residential summer camp offering a structured camping and counseling experience with a mix of challenging physical, mental and emotional activities. Over 850 middle school at-risk/underserved youth have benefited from this camping program. More about us.

San Rafael Police officers join with Marin County Sheriff deputies to participate with the kids in all activities during the week of Camp Chance. This informal and personal contact with peace officers is a big win-win for the kids, police, and community. Our Partners and Sponsors.

Making a Difference

This program is completely funded by local citizens and businesses. We rely on people like you who can give these kids a chance to build good relationships with police officers, their schools, and within their neighborhoods. Please consider a donation to Camp Chance today.

2018 Winemaker Dinner

Saturday, March 3, at 6:30pm

Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 3, 2018 and the 8th annual winemaker dinner at San Rafael Joe’s.

Schug Carneros Estate Winery of Sonoma is this year’s wine sponsor and we’ll be pouring some wonderful white and red wines to accompany a fantastic 5-course meal.

This is a fun way to help send at-risk kids to camp — from delicious food and wine to silent and live auctions, the event sells out every year.

Would you be able to support this event with an item for our live or silent auction? We are on the lookout for vacation destinations, spa or dining certificates, one-of-a-kind activities and events, sports memorabilia, etc…

To help, please contact Rebecca Kuga at 415-485-3025 or 545@srpd.org.
